3-4 servings per kg.
Cooking instructions:
Place in a large pan with cold water. Add flavourings, eg. carrot, Celery, peppercorns and a bay leaf. Bring to the boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes per lb (45 minutes per kg).
If desired, glaze your gammon with toppings such as brown sugar, honey and Mustard. Place in a preheated oven to 180 degrees C. Roast for 20 minutes until caramelised.
Allow to rest before carving.
Delicious served hot or cold.
